Really nice beach, tho' if you're looking for"quiet", it is that only during the week of low season time of the year. Even then, weekends and holidays are typically quite busy, and parking, while reasonably available, can take you a bit to get fairly close (especially if disabled) and isn't cheap.
Clean park and public restrooms, amazing driftwood and trees to photograph and walk by, if looking for shells must get there first thing in the morning. A lot of animals: fish swimming by, jelly fish, birds all over. Great place for photo safari.
Beautiful beach. We went just after the hurricane and the smell of dead sea life was around but not too bad. The water was not it's normal color from what I was told but we still enjoyed ourselves and the beauty around us! We even spotted a dolphin!
great small trip and walk around. great spot for fishing near by. you can see lots of animals like birds, turtles, fish etc. will definitely recommend to stop by and spend some time here. you can have bbq on site stay on beach and enjoy sunset with your family or friends
Beautiful lighthouse! A definite stop for our next visit! There are tons of beautiful shells here, a lovely path to walk on and friendly tourists. The parking wasn't so cheap but it was well worth the visit! The parking meters will take a debit/ credit card!
