This place has an epic appeal for bring just a grocery store. It features a diner inside the grocery store, a shoe shop, kids toys shop, Love Boat ice cream, and a few more shops within the Jerry's complex. Truly an incredible shopping and dining experience. The grouper "fish and chips" was our top choice for grouper in the area actually. Excellent experience.
The tropical birds made us Jerry's shoppers instead of Bailey's years ago. Nice store. M&M cookies aren't to be missed.
This is Sanibel at its finest. The grocery store is great. Staff is always friendly. Restaurant has good seafood at a good price. The other stores are great. This is our first and last stop everytime. Children will love the parrots and enjoy the ice cream shop.
But hands-down the highlight is Love Boat ice cream. We always stop on the way back from the beach and try something new every time. They have to have 30-50 homemade flavors... SO MANY. I've been to most of the Love Boat locations and this one is my favorite. It's the highlight of my visit to Sanibel.
This place is a super convenient stop on the way to or from the beach. If you forgot any if your beach gear there's a shop that sells everything you could possibly want--it's a little over-priced, but worth it to grab some last-minute gear for your day. The bathroom in Jerry's grocery store is pretty clean.
BEING FROM NEW YORK WE EXPECTED THE PRICES TO BE INFLATED DUE TO ITS ISOLATED (BUT OH SO NEEDED) PRESENTLY SURPRISED THAT THE PRICES WERE ONLY 10 TO 20 CENTS HIGHER THAN LONG ISLAND.
ALSO DIRECTLY INSIDE JERRYS SUPERMARKET IS "JERRY'S CAFE" WHERE YOU CAN GET BREAKFAST, LUNCH OR DINNER WITH A CAFE/DINER STYLE SETTING.
MEDIUM SIZED SUPERMARKET WITH A LARGE VARIETY OF SELECTIONS.. IT HAS EVERYTHING NEEDED TO STOCK UP A PANTRY !
